This site has been online for a couple of years now, and it's been stale for months. I hereby now make a formal request for comments regarding the future use for this site. What is its scope? What is its value? What features worked well, what should be pruned? What would you rather see?
The floor is open.

I'm not sure what kinds of suggestions to add. I like JD's ideas. A syntax highlighter would be really cool. By which I mean, a way to post code samples here which are formatted and colored in a reasonable way based on their language.
Reviews
Reviews are dead for the time being. They did not survive the upgrade thanks to the module not being upgraded. I'll try to rebuild them at some point in the near future.
Perhaps we should start a thread regarding what we want in reviews? If we only want a free-form massive text box that's one thing, if we want to control the data a bit more, that's another.
New Question:
The name of this site no longer makes much sense. Would giving it a new name make sense? Should we agree upon a collective name for our little cadre? Is this time to get a new domain name?
new name?
The name doesn't bother me. I think of it as a gentle reminder of where we came from. Like having car and cdr in Lisp.
I would think of it...
I would think of it as gentle if it resembled lisp, but instead it's got sharp things all of the place. A pound sign, angled brackets, not gentle at all.
maybe it we did (load '0kelvin.silc) I'd feel a little more safe. Or we could just (cons 'nev (cons 'dowaito (cons 'jedediah ())))
;)

I like what you like, and I like having a community blog where I can talk to "mai homeez" and not the internet at large.
I don't much like the polls. Maybe I'll do a poll about killing polls. :D
With your "project area" did you just ask for 0KelvinAppEngine? If not, what did you envision?
Could feature requests be a forum post?
Could a blog roll be something in our profile? (What do you mean by blog roll BTW? A list of our own blogs or a list of blogs we read?)
The "book module" is for writing books. Think of it as live documentation. It's wiki-esque in that anyone can edit (you cannot edit my blog, but you can edit on books). They can be useful, but they are not as free-form as wikis.
The aggregator should be pulling from del.icio.us and ma.gnol.ia already, but it's not. I could get it to pull from lb's RSS feed. As for separate page there is one. See the "AGGREGATOR" link at the top.
I'll say this much: if there is enough interest in keeping this site on Drupal I'll upgrade it to v6. That might afford some other nifty things.

I'm thinking, at 3:45pm on a given Thursday, we have an idea for a new social-network-web-2.0-thingy. I think it would be cool to click a button, and to have at least a forum and a wiki available for the idea at 3:46 pm.
> Could feature requests be a forum post?
Absolutely.

I'm thinking more like community links. For instance, links to badpoetry, storytellr, storyboards, that king of thing.

I'm interested. :)

So does this work for you: http://silc.0kelvin.net/links
That looks easy enough
That looks easy enough :)
Not sure why I didn't just do that before.
