On Friday, September 2nd, 2005, a crudely conceived idea took shape as daglo and jedediah hashed out the possibility of tracking the "mood" of the channel, an idea which was sparked by an irssi script.

jedediah wasted hours ensuring that the script worked perfectly. At the end of these hours, he noted that it really didn't do much at all, but it still would be fun to have. On daglo's advice, a graph was built that would let anyone see the mood of the 0kelvin channel.

This graph was promptly dismissed by fuji-dono as stupid.

However, the graph lives on, and although it does not have all of the features necessary that might let it gauge the mood on the channel, it will tell a person how many smileys have been used, and that's still interesting to some of us.

• Thou shalt use thy client to connect to silc.0kelvin.net:706 (henceforth and forever known as The Server of ~wibble~) or tualatin.zapto.org (henceforth and forever known as The Server of FishBulbing).

Anybody caught lurking in SILC is fair game for a random /kick in accordance with the entertainment whims and desires of the Supreme Lord

Potential initiates (known heretofor as potentials) must meet the following pre-requisites before consideration for membership.

1. Potential initiates (known heretofor as potentials) must be active on the 0kelvin Silc channel or the fishbulb IRC channel.
2. Potentials must be willing to ~wibble~.
3. Potentials must be able to define FNORD.
4. Potentials must understand that it is better to serve the Great Old Ones as desert than as brunch.

Upon completion of the prerequisites the potentials must endure the ceremony of ~wibble~s

1. At least three members must be present in channel to perform the ceremony.
2. The potential must be present as victem.
3. Members will shout five (being the holy number) ~wibble~s each.
4. Each member will private message the potential with three and two ~wibble~s
5. If the potential ~wibble~s each member partaking of the ritual, the potential shall be considered a member.
